My name is Martha Preston and I am honored to serve the Skaggs community as assistant principal. I have been a proud educator in Plano ISD my entire career. Since beginning as as a Kindergarten bilingual teacher in 2001, I have also taught 1st and 3rd grades, served as a campus Instructional Specialist/Coach, and worked as a Special Education team leader. I moved to an assistant principal role in 2023. 

I have a passion for public education and I love to watch students grow academically and socially. Partnering with families is critical to any student's success. I am always available to discuss anything you may need. 

My husband, Mike, and I have 2 boys, one in college and one in high school. We are obsessed with our dogs and all things sports, especially soccer. I am excited to get to know all the Skaggs students and their wonderful families!
